New Data Suggest Women are Asking for, but not Getting, Raises just as Often as Men

June 25, 2018

Harvard Business Review // Benjamin Artz, Amanda Gooddall, and Andrew J. Oswald

A common explanation for the wage gap is that women are less likely to ask for raises in the work place and are less aggressive in salary negotiation, but new data suggest that this is not the case.
