Wage Gap Still Exists Between Mothers and Fathers

In a phenomena sometimes called the "Mom Tax," wage disparity tends to be even more pronounced among mothers, who make on average 71% as much as men compared to 80% for women without children. The gap is even larger for single mothers and mothers of color, who make on average half what their male counterparts do.
