The World Economic Forum’s newest report ranks 144 countries on various measures of gender parity. Despite notions that we are making headway, the US fell from not-so-great (23rd on the list in 2006) to getting-much-worse (49th on the list in 2017). Women@Forbes has three steps to get us started on fixing this: stand up for other women in the workplace, cultivate a culture of empowerment and belonging, and nurture a positive climate even if it’s just within yourself.
