Mothers Make 71.4 Percent of What Fathers Make, IWPR Finds

Today is Mom's Equal Pay Day - the day that mothers must work until in 2017 to earn what fathers made in 2016 alone. This amounts to a wage ratio of 71.4 percent. Mothers' median earnings are significantly lower than fathers' reagrdless of marital status, IWPR reports.
