Payscale found that the raw unconscious gender bias present in the wage gap decreased in Massachusetts over the past year. “An Act to Establish Pay Equity” likely had a part in shifting norms, but the uncontrolled median earnings of women across the Commonwealth are still almost 24 percent less than those of men.
