It is not new to any of us that women in technology face pervasive sexist discrimination. But where and when does this discrimination begin? Undergraduate women studying computer science report that it starts very early on in their college experiences. With everything from micro-aggressions to explicit sexism, young women are frequently discouraged from remaining in tech.
