The Teenage Wage Gap: Proof of Discrimination?

The current explanations for the wage gap focus on the adult working population, where there may be an argument made for unequal skills or experience due to the interference of “domestic duties.” However, the wage gap is found to begin as early as age 14 due to differences between and within job choices of girls vs boys, showing that it is more costly to be a girl from a young age.
