Microaggressions in tech make it increasingly difficult for women to work on a level playing field. Many of these microaggressions are centered around gender stereotypes and expectations, such as asking women when they want to have kids, advising women to use their sexuality for career advancement, and suggesting that women’s success is based upon female quotas. Let’s stop enacting microaggressions and take steps to preempt them.
