An internal survey from BusyKid, an app allowing parents and kids to track chores and allowances, has found that the average girl on their platform is paid less than half as much as the average boy on a per week basis. While the survey was confined just to BusyKid and not other similar programs, it could point to an inherent gender bias regarding young girls and money, with roots starting in the home.
