Gender Discrimination Rampant in Tech Sector

From day to day complications such as walking three stories for a restroom or being the only woman on a team of more than a dozen people to serious allegations of sexual harassment and wage discrimination, women in tech face high barriers to entry into the highly lucrative industry. Still, there is optimism as the #MeToo movement continues to shake up traditional power structures, with 69% of women surveyed in tech jobs believing that lasting change is coming to their industry.
