A shocking percentage of women are willing to allow their spouses to manage family investment decisions. Considering eight in ten women will be alone later in life, it's immensely important that they have a thorough understanding of their financial situations, but equally important is that financial independence for women is a clear source of freedom and a key step towards equality.
