Census Data Confirms Long Wait for Gender Pay Parity

The Census Bureau’s annual data release demonstrates that the average woman working full-time, year-round makes 80 cents for every dollar earned by her white, non-Hispanic male counterpart. This represents no change from the previous year, though advocates now say that the wage gap for women will not close until 2119.
