Addressing the Gender Gap in Venture Funding

The wage gap is far from the only form of economic discrimination women face. For example, woman-lead businesses tend to face more difficulty receiving investment and funding compared to those run by men. In hopes to address this issue—and to capitalize on an under served market—financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs and LGIM have launched investment campaigns devoted to supporting female entrepreneurs, helping to close the funding gap.
